Samsung Announces Launch Of eReader

eReader2

How very exciting! Yesterday Samsung offered the press an exclusive preview of their eReader. The company combined over one million electronic titles, advanced handwriting capabilities and WiFi connectivity into a single, easy-to-use device that allows users to read, write and share on the go.

I’m in!

Samsung even formed a partnership with Barnes & Noble to provide the eCommerce storefront for the Samsung eReader. Users can access Barnes & Noble’s expansive digital library of more than 1 million eBooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers.

So why is this eReader different and the better buy? Because of its electromagnetic resonance (EMR) stylus pen. This EMR stylus allows you to TAKE NOTES on the page. Don’t you do that? My books are always filled with highlighted text and notes along the margins. You can even record your thoughts and interpretations while reading. HELLO! How exciting.

I just love technology.

So what do you think? Are you planning on purchasing an eReader? If you’d like to sign up to be notified when the product actually launches, click here.

I'm a bookaholic, too. I have had my Kindle for about a year - it's like my best friend. LOL I have a friend who just bought the "Nook" and she loves it - it's cool looking, but I'm attached to my Kindle. I nearly left it in the New Jersey airport! It was traumatic! haha

I'd check out this Samsung one because (as nerdy as this sounds) I am a fan of Samsung's products and customer service. ;) I don't see a price listed? Did they tell you, Vera? I checked the site, but didn't see it there.

I am a big time bookaholic. I probably own...1000 books? I'm not even sure anymore. Anyway, I got a Kindle for Christmas...it took me a while to realize I loved it, lol. I'll never be w/o "real" books in my house, but it is an amazing tool to have. AND when you travel you always have a lot to read w/o lugging around heavy books.
