The Avon Foundation for Women, in collaboration with the PGA TOUR Wives Association and the Quail Hollow Championship, will host the second Walk The Course Against Domestic Violence as part of Quail Hollow Championship Week. Participants in this unique event– a walk on a PGA TOUR course – will walk up to 18 holes (5 miles) alongside tournament players’ wives and families to raise much-needed funds and awareness for the domestic violence cause.
Walk the Course Against Domestic Violence is a family-friendly event for all ages and will take place at Quail Hollow Club, site of the Quail Hollow Championship, an official PGA TOUR event. Funds raised from this event will benefit:
- The Shelter of Gaston County
- United Family Services Shelter for Battered Women
- Turning Point of Union County
- North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence

Top fundraisers will have the opportunity to meet PGA TOUR golfers at a special reception after the Walk.
