On Sunday, my town held its 55th Annual Antique Car Easter Parade. We’ve lived here for 3 years but never thought to attend. Last weekend, Bill admitted he was a bit curious – so off we went. I was afraid the children wouldn’t be interested, but Natalie and Liam had a blast. Each car either threw candy at the kids on the street or had some sort of Easter bunny hanging out the window.
The adults enjoyed the show as well. I got a look at an original MODEL T!! I didn’t have my camera handy because I was walking back from grabbing a Starbucks BTL (blame it on my addiction). They also showed low riders with hydrolics! Hilarious!! That car was bouncing up and down the entire street.
Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny came out to take pictures and pass around lollipops. And through it all we listened to this AMAZING banjo band!! We took their card and are thinking about hiring them for a summer party. This officially has become part of our Easter tradition. Next year I am going to host the holiday so hopefully my family can come early enough to see the show.
Oh and PS. I got Natalie’s dress for $8 at AJ Wright!! Can you believe it! It wasn’t very fancy, but I thought it was pretty enough for the holiday.
