Jlee Silver was started by Melanie Manego and Jenna Lee Fowler in 2008 and has been garnering attention since then. Jlee Silver was honored at Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion Chicago last year. Their latest collection consists of shifts, blousy tops, skirts and jackets. Comfort and ease were clearly main priorities.

Each piece contains an interesting detail or design element that makes the piece unique. For instance, a simple metallic, sleeveless shift dress is made sexy with long fringe detailing in the front. A short-sleeved basic blousy top is done in a busy print and is perfect for dressing up jeans or black pants. One of my favorite pieces is a long gray dress with capped sleeves. The design is basic but the fabric is elegant and comfortable, making the look effortlessly chic. This dress is equally ideal with summer sandals and chunky wedges.
