Several months ago I was invited to get a taste of some new ice cream flavors Starbucks is coming out with. Why was this the best event I ever attended? Because they gave me a Starbucks apron to keep. Yes, I’ve been wearing it around the house ever since. Not ashamed to admit that.

So, what are the names of the new treats you ask?

  • Vanilla doesn’t have to be so vanilla…Vanilla Bean Frappuccino: Vanilla ice cream made with real vanilla beans from Madagascar
  • Signature Hot Chocolate is now frozen…Signature Hot Chocolate: Swirled Chocolate and Vanilla ice creams with ribbons of chocolate fudge
  • Strawberry like you’ve never had it before…Strawberries & Crème Frappuccino: Swirled Strawberry and Vanilla ice creams with real strawberries

Experience your favorite, classic ice cream flavors in a new and innovative way that is unmistakably Starbucks. Made with high-quality, all-natural ingredients from  farmers who pledge not to treat their cows with rBGH, these new flavors are a MUST TRY. For about $3.89 per pint, Starbucks ice cream actually costs less than other premium name brands.

While at the blogger’s preview, we learned about a few fun ways to serve the ice cream to friends. They attempted to get me to make these fancy ovals using my spoons – didn’t really work out on my part. BUT some of the other writers were able to do it. What can I say – I’m not so crafty with the milky treat. LOL!

We also learned about new ways to serve ice cream to friends. Instead of just serving coffee at the end of a meal,  why not pour some over the Signature Hot Chocolate? That way you are combating dessert and coffee all in one.

I”ve waited SO LONG to actually be able to write about these new flavors! If you are a fan of ice cream – be sure to check out Starbucks’ newest additions.
