Natalie’s Birthday Adventures With The Family

We left everything up to Natalie yesterday on her birthday. My big girl turned 5 and we told her we would do whatever she wanted. Naturally… she wanted McDonalds. I didn’t object because we really don’t eat fast food too often and I knew it would make her WEEK.

So, as soon as I finished my morning shift on INO we grabbed the kids and clogged up our arteries.

Then it was off to the local amusement park.  I didn’t buy myself a bracelet because I only go on roller coasters. Bill got one just in case the kids were scared to go alone. He ended up going on a TON of rides! My children have officially outgrown the kiddie area. This little swing ride went about 2 miles an hour and Natalie kept saying, “It’s broken. It’s not working.”  We were laughing.

So off we went to the adult area (or the area where you have to be accompanied by an adult) and BOY DID THEY HAVE FUN. I couldn’t even LOOK at this ride go around without getting vertigo and these guys rode it 4 times in a row.  Oh my word.

After a few hours, we went inside for a snack. I opted for an ICEE because I haven’t had one since I was probably 13. The kids shared a cup of ice cream… and Bill got corn. He is really serious about his diet. I will never be that serious about anything. LOL!
