Sometimes Time Stamping A Story Isn’t The Best Solution

Remember this morning when I posted a story about me being on a plane to Michigan? Yeah – that didn’t happen. I arrived around 6AM to LGA and found out a few hours later that my flight was canceled!! The next one out was around 5PM which completely killed my one day trip to the Ford Safety Plant. BOO!

That’s ok. Bill ended up coming to get me with the kids and we went out to eat breakfast. Then we threw on their bathing suits and headed to the pool for a few hours. I told the writers that were covering me on I’m Not Obsessed to continue with the original plan and ended up taking it easy.

We got home and grabbed Chipotle and are just about to call it a night. Talk about a FULL DAY OFF. Yet, here I am back online. It’s like a drug that I can’t stop using.

I’m sad I didn’t get to head out to see what’s doing with Ford, but I am sure they will include me on future endeavors.

In other news, I think I am going to take a photography class in town. There’s this little shop in my neighborhood that gives private lessons to people interested in learning more about their SLR cameras. Have you ever taken a photography class? Is it worth it? They charge about $60 a half hour.

  1. I just got an SLR camera and need to learn more about it. The local community college offers photography classes on Sundays that I’m thinking about taking.

Vera, check out this site. they have some REALLY good classes online. and it’s FREE. 🙂

  3. My mom took a class to learn about hers, but she knew absolutely nothing about it. I think, at least the class she took, was great for beginners. It is like technique and how to use a camera.

  4. Very interesting blog post thank you for sharing I just added your website to my bookmarks and will check back.By the way this is a little off subject but I really like your sites layout.

  5. I got a new camera from Ritz last year just before our Disney trip and I love it. Ritz offers free classes all over the states. Look into that as well.

  6. Oh my gosh! We had a crazy time of it with flight cancellations last week. It was insane! Glad you had a great day anyway!
