LATB was invited to the eyeslipsface cosmetics Holiday 2010 Collection preview. It was Christmas in July as we sipped frozen hot chocolate and reviewed assortment of eye-popping makeup palettes, glimmering beauty tools, and gem-inspired nail colors that will leave every girl ready for the most dazzling soiree.
Elf cosmetics offers great ideas for presents too; 100 Piece Eyeshadow Palette is only $10, and the Holiday Mini Palette which includes 9 powder eyeshadows, 10 lip glosses, and other makeup essentials is $15.
My favorite new items were Shimmer Pencils, $1 each, which come with a pencil sharpener, Matte Shadows, $3 each, and the Studio Cream Blush, $3, which is so soft and does not grease up.
When I first found out about elf cosmetics I was suspicious because it’s so cheap! Well, Achelle Dunaway, Creative Director, said it’s because there is no celebrity advertising, it’s by word of mouth. Elf cosmetics is indeed compatible with Bobby Brown and Sephora make-up, but it’s much lighter on your wallet!
