Angelina Jolie In Salt – Not A Bad Way To Spend $10

Yesterday afternoon I met up with a friend for lunch and a movie. Originally, she wanted to see ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ but I don’t pay to cry and I KNOW I would cry if I saw that movie. I much rather be scared or have my adrenaline pumping during an action flick. THAT I will pay for!!

‘The Expendables’ wasn’t playing at the theatre that was closest to our meet up spot, so we opted for ‘Salt’ (despite it being a bit old at this point). I am so happy I did. It was surprisingly good. Had me guessing and flipping sides throughout the entire movie. And Angie certainly knows how to get through an action sequence.

Our little matinee was worth the money. Just wanted to let you know should you be in the market for something to see this weekend.

  1. you wouldn’t have cried at Eat, Pray, Love. Trust me. It was b-o-r-i-n-g. I hoped it’d be better than the book, but I didn’t think it was. (there was one part that was pretty intense, but it was Richard Jenkins who made the scene powerful)… anywhoo… I agree with you on Salt, it was pretty good. 🙂

  2. Hmm, I finally found the coments at the top of the post!! I thought the comments were disabled or something lol. But eat, pray, love was nottt that great at all. I know it’s suppose to be a good concept or w/e but the move was tooo dragged out. I started looking at the time wondering when I wud be able to get outta there!! lol
