Inside The Kitchen: Popcorn Cake
Over the weekend while I was working my husband and mother made ‘popcorn cakes’ for the kids. It took all but 5 minutes and they were good! Here’s how.
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups of marshmallows
- 1 bag of kettle corn (or plain if you prefer)
- 1 small bag of M&Ms or peanuts
Melt the butter and then toss in the marshmallows.
Once melted add the peanuts and toss.
Pour over popcorn and mix. (This is as hard as it gets people)
Line Tupperware with saran wrap and pour mixture. Let sit until popcorn is cool and marshmallows have hardened.
When you are ready to serve pull out saran wrap and cut into pieces. YUM!
