Easy Recipes = Light & Delish: 400 Calories or Less
I’m a cookbook junkie! I LOVE to try new recipes…I’m so lucky that my family will try just about anything too! Often times the kids take a bite and then want chicken nuggets or something else, but at least they try it! I have a friend whose husband won’t eat anything green! I’m so thankful that James and I both love to try new things! It makes mealtime a little more fun around here.
I recently picked up an issue Light & Delish: 400 Calories or Less. It’s a “bookazine” and it’s on newsstands now until mid-December. The recipes include healthy makeovers of traditional family favorites. There are mouth-watering Italian dishes, Mexican favorites (grilled swordfish tacos…YUM!), Asian Buffet staples, as well as desserts!!
I’ve tried a few of the recipes so far…I will be making MANY more. Here’s a quick, easy Beef & Broccoli recipe that I made for my family. It was so good and only 287 calories per serving! Check out the recipe here. I added Baby Portabella Mushrooms…just because I LOVE mushrooms and I had them in the fridge!
