Do You Have 5 Bucks? Get Anything You Need On Fiverr.com

Really interesting concept! Fiverr.com is a website where people get paid five dollars to do a task – any task. Looking for a model to hold up a sign with your company’s logo? Looking for new business cards? Someone to plan a trip for you? Need a song written and recorded? I mean – the options are endless!

My favorites have to be:

Like I said… endless.

If you are looking to make a quick five bucks and have a talent (or non-talent) you’d like to share – check out Fiverr.com.

  1. Vera,

I just want to let you know that at Fiverr, you dont get paid $5 and not even $4!

One gets paid $4 less withdrawal fee and paypal fee. One gets paid after 20 days after Fiverr getting paid.
Id you do only one gig and try to withdraw money, you will end up with $3. Instead if you let it accumulate up to $40 and withdraw the money, then you get $3.90 per gig.

There are other sites like Freelance5.com where you can list your Fiverr gig for $4 and get paid $4 instantly.

For myself, I much prefer www(dot)7Freelance(dot)com because I get $7 no commissions taken and get paid instantly, 2x of Fiverr.

great post by the way. and love the blog name. Happy visiting other Fiverr like sites

just so you know and wont be disappointed.

I much prefer 7 Freelance No.2 site after Fiverr it pays $7 and you get paid instantly.

  4. That is SO cool.

Megan, have you used their site before? I see that they only pay the people $4 for each thing. (minus paypal fees) I’m curious what your experience was – if you don’t mind sharing.

  5. Thanks for asking. I have used their site both on the buying and selling end.

As a buyer I experienced that the sellers are not screened. Half the time your money goes wasted. Fiverr supporters say, well its only $5. No big deal. Its a big deal if you have to work for an hour to make it. Plus $5 here and there can add up. Pretty soon you are out $25 or $40 and nothing to show for. As we speak, I have this guy willing to make 3 vids for $5 by Kevinfar (really?). Guess what I accidentally made two orders. I clicked the order button and when I hit the back button it placed the order yet one more time.
3 days later I got a message that the orders are ready. Turns out its an automated message. There was nothing in the message. No product delivered. I am complaining to Paypal this time because Fiverr support response is super slow.

Started looking around and found a forum where you can buy or list your Fiverr gig for just $4. Customer saves a buck and freelancers get their money right away.

On the selling side, Fiverr is a nightmare. They pay you 20 (they say 14) days after the job is completed. Lets say you have completed one gig and you have $4 in your account. Fiverr charges $0.08 additional for withdrawing the funds for each gig. Then, you pay the $1 paypal fees on 3.92 and you end up making $2.92. At best you make $3.77 after all fees.

I much prefer 7 Freelance because I make $7 and I get paid instantly.

  6. I had left another message for you (took a lot of my time) in detail can you please dig it out of your spam folder.

    thanks

  7. Fiverr is a top player but with many flaws out there alternatives like fiversworld.com and tenbux.com got a good shot to take over.

  8. Actually, Fiverr is quite great. I’ve been making money there doing what I love. It’s not my main source of income, though. I’m just doing it for some fun and extra bucks 😀
