Wisk did it again! We’ve already combatted grass stains and Liam’s ketchup painting but today we are focusing on LIP GLOSS! Lip gloss represents oil stains which also include everything from peanut butter to salad dressings. I was asked to purposely stain a towel and test out the powers of Wisk.
And so I did… even though I was afraid of ruining my white hand towel! 😉
At this point, Bill and I had a little audience. You can see Liam in the background watching the action. I pre-treated the stained area with a little Wisk and let it sit for a few minutes.
Then we went to the sink and gave it a scrub. In about 15 seconds the stain was gone!
The proof is in the pudding… I mean the oil stain. Wait what?! Nice to know that something actually works! There are so many commercials these days all claiming the same thing. This test makes me know for SURE that Wisk’s promises will ring true.

Love Wisk! My boys play baseball and white pants get red clay stains on them pretty bad. I pretreat with a little wisk and add a little borax and they come out bright white. In fact.... My son's football practice jersey was pretty dingy looking and the coach asked me what I used to get it so white..... WISK!

This is GREAT to know. I steer clear of white because it never stays nice and bright for me. I always thought it was me or our washer or just the shirt itself, etc. Maybe it was just my detergent all along!

That's awesome. I have been so stuck on another brand for so long and it totally sucks at getting stains out, i need to pick up some Wisk when I do my shopping this weekend. I swear the stuff I use now leaves these spots on some of my shirts - they almost look like oil spatters and I cannot get them out. It makes me so mad! Anyway...thanks for sharing. :)

Sherry - us too! After washing, we'll find round oil stains on the clothes that weren't on there before...and we use Tide which I have always liked. I have no idea what is causing it.

Wow! I think I may need to get some of that. With 5 kids we run into lots of stains.
