Wisk Helps Out With My Morning Routine

Wisk did it again! We’ve already combatted grass stains and Liam’s ketchup painting but today we are focusing on LIP GLOSS! Lip gloss represents oil stains which also include everything from peanut butter to salad dressings. I was asked to purposely stain a towel and test out the powers of Wisk.

And so I did… even though I was afraid of ruining my white hand towel! ;)

There it is! EEK!!!

At this point, Bill and I had a little audience. You can see Liam in the background watching the action. I pre-treated the stained area with a little Wisk and let it sit for a few minutes.

Then we went to the sink and gave it a scrub. In about 15 seconds the stain was gone!

The proof is in the pudding… I mean the oil stain. Wait what?! Nice to know that something actually works! There are so many commercials these days all claiming the same thing. This test makes me know for SURE that Wisk’s promises will ring true.

This post is sponsored by Wisk. I received monetary compensation for my participation, but my review and opinions are my own.

  • Fantastic! I can remember when Wisk was a pre-treater only and not a laundry “detergent”. Will need to add this to my shopping list!

  • Okay I need to add Wisk to my shopping list. My son comes home every day from school with some kind of new stain on his clothes. He even comes home with stuff on his face, how, I have no idea. But so many items of clothes are set aside because I haven’t been able to get the stains out.

  • You are so brave – me – my hands would be shaking to stain something on purpose.

Should be usefull when I have to do my own laundry during college B)

  • We have more stained than unstained clothes over here….definitely have to keep Wisk in mind!

  • Wow! I think I may need to get some of that. With 5 kids we run into lots of stains.

  • wow! really cool, finally something I can believe will remove stains!

That’s awesome. I have been so stuck on another brand for so long and it totally sucks at getting stains out, i need to pick up some Wisk when I do my shopping this weekend. I swear the stuff I use now leaves these spots on some of my shirts – they almost look like oil spatters and I cannot get them out. It makes me so mad! Anyway…thanks for sharing. :)

Sherry – us too! After washing, we’ll find round oil stains on the clothes that weren’t on there before…and we use Tide which I have always liked. I have no idea what is causing it.

Tide is what I’ve been using, too – for my whole adult life just about! I bought the wisk last night and have my first load in the wash right now! I’m crossing my fingers for no little oil stains! That would be so amazing, I can’t even add up how many t-shirts, etc have went to the “rag pile” because of those darn spots!

    been using wisk forever

Love Wisk! My boys play baseball and white pants get red clay stains on them pretty bad. I pretreat with a little wisk and add a little borax and they come out bright white. In fact…. My son’s football practice jersey was pretty dingy looking and the coach asked me what I used to get it so white…..
    WISK!

This is GREAT to know. I steer clear of white because it never stays nice and bright for me. I always thought it was me or our washer or just the shirt itself, etc. Maybe it was just my detergent all along!
