I Came. I Saw. I Didn’t Fall Down. (Plus VIDEO Of Me Skiing At Canyons)

I am absolutely having a BLAST at Canyons in Park City. We JUST got back from skiing and lunch and I have a few moments to rest before we head out to our next session. I thought I’d post a little update on what I’ve been doing and learning.

Before we headed out to the slopes, Cercone Brown made sure that all the writers were WARM. My jacket and pants were just perfect for today’s mountain conditions.

The jacket is from Foursquare Outerwear and is both waterproof and breathable. Made out of 100% nylon, I had no problem dealing with the cold weather while on top of the mountain. Another great perk about this jacket is its stretch wrist warmers because they added that extra layer of protection I was looking for while skiing during my lesson.

The pants were also from Foursquare and were actually from their men’s collection! I felt so hardcore!! I haven’t worn baggy pants like that since I was in high school. Brought back good memories — LOL!

If you are looking to bring stuff up on the mountain with you while skiing, the BOSWELL pants are right up your alley. I had a TON of pockets to choose from. As a blogger, I absolutely appreciated that feature. I brought up two cameras, my phone, lip gloss and hand moisturizer with room to SPARE!

Ready to see a video of me skiing? This is part of my private lesson with one of the other writers. I actually made it down the hill without falling which is SHOCKING. But make no mistake – I was done. Done. DONE. I wish I was that girl that took to the slopes speeding down the side of the mountain without any fear. I’m just not. The bunny slope was the hot spot of the morning – I’m not ashamed to say it!! 🙂

The group even had a chance to meet Kaylin Richardson!! She’s currently blogging for Canyons, so be sure to check out her posts. She was REALLY NICE and helpful. No ego whatsoever despite having been part of the U.S. Ski Team where she was a two-time Olympian and four-time Alpine National Champion. WOWOWOWOWOW!

Come back tomorrow for more updates. There are so many more activities planned. Are you a skier?  Have you ever tried it?!
