Coupon Cutting Victory: My Weekend Run To CVS (VIDEO)

You aren’t going to believe it! They ended up paying me like $15 or so for this week’s CVS run. You have to take your time and look through the circular – but BOY IS IT WORTH IT.

My rule is to always get the same or more Extra Reward Bucks each week so I consistently get about $10 in free goods. Watch the video to see what I mean. Woot! Woot!

  1. Vera ~ I was just sharing my coupon rehab journey today on my MomTV show ~ I saved almost $300 this past month on groceries however still laid out almost $1100 ~ teen boys eat SO much! I haven’t been shopping at pharmacies much ~ just our Walgreens but maybe I’ll try CVS. You mentioned you don’t coupon elsewhere ~ does that mean you buy certain sale items at CVS instead of at the grocery store and then don’t coupon at grocery? Just wondering how to duplicate your success ~ its one fo the few places in our budget where we have the opp to make a dent ~ now if they would just quit growing =)

  2. I’m seriously so bummed that we don’t have a CVS closer to our city. I have friends who RAKE in the ECB’s (or whatever they’re called now).

    Good job! πŸ™‚

  3. I’m a CVS coupon JUNKIE.. certifiably, hopelessly and happily so. ECBs (Extra Care Bucks) are like fairy dust. Sprinkling me with joy and the magic of shopping love. My husband used to think I was crazy spending hours clipping coupons. Then he went shopping with me. I WIN!

  4. Very I’m so the coupon wanna-be I’m always on the outside looking in but can never bring myself to clip and save and work out the deals, I’ll use one or two here or there, but never really get the knack of it. Work Momma!!
