Gap Launches ‘Say Your Price’: A New Way To Save Big While Shopping Online

Wow – this is an interesting twist to those flash sites. It’s like if Groupon and Priceline had a baby. Gap has launched a brand new website called ‘Say Your Price‘. Basically, consumers can log on daily and see what items are available (they rotate frequently). You then name your own price and HOPE that the Gap accepts your bid. How fun!!!

If it’s too low – there are no guarantees that your offer will be accepted by the Gap, but you’ll have fun trying! For fun I put something ridiculously in as my offer and the Gap came back to me with an offer of their own. I then had the option to take it – which I didn’t. No fee. No initial sign up.

Wonder if the ‘Say Your Price’ concept will catch on with other retailers????

Will you try ‘Say Your Price‘?

  1. I tried it and got the spray-dye tee for $12, regular $19.95…not bad. I did try for the bag, the lowest they would go was $34…might have to go back for that one. You get a coupon to print out to redeem in the store.

  2. Interesting concept. I like how more and more retailers are listening to their customers and offering deals to those that seek them out.
