This Is Why I Love CVS: Extreme Couponing Works

My CVS bill this week would have been $1.50 for all of these beauty items – but I needed that pill case which ran me $4.29. DAMN YOU PILL CASE FOR RUINING MY TOTAL!!! 🙂 LOL!

Ps – when I scanned my card I got $5 ERB from their machine. So that was awesome!

Ok here are my deals.

  • Pantene – 2/$6.97 -I had a $3 coupon off PLUS I got $2 ERB
  • Aveeno – Spend $25 and get $10 in ERB. I had a buy 2 get 1 free body wash, and I had a $2 coupon for their sunscreen. Worked out to be $7 out of my pocket for 4 Aveeno items.
  • Kids Crest – $1.99 but you got $1 back. I had a $1 off of 2 coupon. So I ended up getting $2 ERB back for this one

I also received a $5 off $25 coupon in my email this week which I used. After all my coupons, I spent $5.65 AND received $14 in ERB for next week.

If you check the receipt, I saved $52 this week!

  2. I don’t get it? You mentioned specific coupons but your bill shows a whole lot of other coupons. Are those ECB’s? Do you know a site where I can get store coupon policies? I stumbled across one somewhere and now I can’t recall.

    1. Yes those are Extra Reward bucks from the week before. Go to for all the other coupons I use. 🙂

      1. I also save the coupons each week from the SUnday paper – some are NOT printable. In fact, most are NOT from the computer.

  3. I love how you got so many aveeno products for under $6. If only I could get my act together to take advantage of deals like this. It always costs me so much more when I need to stock up on aveeno. This comment is for the Queen Anne’s Revenge LEGO Playset Contest.

  4. My haul this week was:

6 boxes of Honey Bunches of Oats @2 for $5= $15.00

  5. You can also use Faithful Provisions it will tell you the store policies on coupons also she will tell you by store what deals and what coupons and so forth I am a beginner I have did it 2 times and I was so amazed at what can be done ….. I thought when I got 15 items for 4.79 at Publix I was doing so well till I see people with 400 and 500 dollars and pay only $50 AWESOME

  6. What a great job!! I love couponing at my local CVS because I get so much of my normal household items such as toothpaste and toothburshes for free or close to free 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

  7. Oops, I should have also added that I added this comment for the Queen Anne’s Revenge Lego Playset giveaway. I am trying my best to to get some extra entries to win this for my oldest son LOL! Thanks again!
