Sip Tags was started by (who else?) a mom, who noticed her kids mixing up their cups and bottles or leaving half full cups and bottles all over because they didn’t know who’s it was. She came up with this great idea. It seems obvious, like one of those things where you go “Why didn’t I think of that?”. Its a plastic label with a rubber band at the top. You can write your name on the label, slip in on to your cup or bottle and no mixing up! This isn’t just a problem with kids. This caught my eye because I’m having the same problem at work. We all drink Poland Springs water and we all walk around the office frequently. I would forget my full bottle in my boss’ office after my morning meeting, remember where I left it around lunch, and go back to ask her about it, only to have her tell me she didn’t know which was hers or mine so she threw away both. This was happening so frequently, even in my own office space. This is a genius idea and I’m currently using a Sip Tag on my bottle, which makes it super easy to know which is mine. I thought I would toss it out my mistake but I haven’t yet so that’s a good sign.
There are tons of designs to choose from, from butterflies and slippers to footballs and skateboards. My favorite is the shoe.
