Blogging can be so… isolating. You work from home. Your best friends can live three states away. There’s no office where we all get to meet up. It’s all so very…virtual. But there are moments where our worlds collide – press events, conferences, scheduled meet ups. I’m always so thankful for those days because I really do enjoy my blogging buddies!
So, it got me thinking…
With all these crazy national holidays (for example, today is “National Deviled Eggs Day” what?), we should have one too. So, I’m making it up! It’s called “National Hug a Blogger” day.
Want to get involved? Here’s how:
- Post a picture(s) of you hugging a fellow blogger(s) on your site.
- Explain why you love that person. Then link to their site

I have to give Janice a shout out because – although she lives in Canada and I rarely get to see her – I always have so much fun when I do. She’s a smart business woman and her site 5 Minutes for Mom is one of my favorites. She runs it with her twin sister – Susan – who I equally love. 
Audrey from Mom Generations - well, you know how I feel about her. That’s my partner in crime and my best friend. I love her like a sister. End of story.
Another lovely lady that I always have the opportunity to snuggle with is Christine from the site ‘From Dates to Diapers‘. This is the woman I think about when I’m stressed out at home with my kids. A true inspiration. Guess how many children she has? GUESS!! You never will get it right – 8 kids folks! And she’s so put together. It’s amazing!
This is a horrible picture, but Lindsay from ‘Rock and Roll Mama‘ is pure of heart. She’s one of those people who will do anything for you if you asked. Good intentions – right down to the core. A dying breed.
And of course I have to mention Whitney from ‘Mommies with Style‘ and Colleen from ‘Classy Mommy‘. We always end up working together / hanging out / hopping on 2 hours long conference calls. Again, this picture is… not the best, but a hug is a hug.
My NY partners in crime (who again – I don’t see enough) are Nichelle from Style Mom and Victoria from 24/7 Victoria. If I am in the city at an event, you better believe I’m sitting next to one of these two girls.
Also have to share the love with Melissa from ‘Married My Sugar Daddy‘. She’s another person that always has my back (and is guaranteed to make me laugh).
Last but not least, is my cousin Dana. She runs FitCeleb.com and… well, I love her! Literally!!

It was fun for me to go back through my old posts and find pictures of me with some of my favorite bloggers….of course this exercise made me realize how many people I have NOT gotten a good pictures with.
