I know most blogs are going to write about how thankful they are for their family and friends during the month of November. I mean, I love reading those sort of stories. However, I woke up thinking about a much different angle. My version will be about the little things I’m thankful for in life.
On Monday, I kicked off my “Week of Thanks” series. The opening topic was simple – low expectations. I’m no June Cleaver and proud of it!
Here are the topics. Come back each day to see what I mean:
- Day 1: Low Expectations
- Day 2: Cheap Addictions
- Day 3: Zero Balance
- Day 4: Steamy And Dreamy
- Day 5: Getting High
- Day 6: Furry Creatures
- Day 7: The Art Of Deception
Wait. What did you think I was talking about when I said getting high?? 🙂
Today’s post is dedicated to TRAVEL!!! I am so thankful that I’ve had the opportunity to see some of the world. Mind you – I have a long way to go (and if I had a different husband I would be WAY closer to my goal by now) – but it’s still one of my FAVORITE THINGS TO DO.
I haven’t been to Japan yet. That is most certainly on top of my list. Egypt too. I hope it happens in my lifetime… they are two very expensive trips though.
My favorite trip ever? I like all of them for different reasons – but when Bill and I went to DR (videos here and here), I was in heaven. It was exactly what I needed at the time. I was SPENT from putting on Getting Gorgeous and we booked it LAST minute and WENT. I slept on the beach, read books, ate like a pig and cuddled with my man. It was heaven on EARTH.
Your turn – where is your favorite place to vacation? Where do you hope to go?
