Chinese Laundry Spring 2012 Sneak Preview

I stopped by the Chinese Laundry showroom to take a look at their Spring offerings. All these Spring previews are making me sooo excited for the warmer weather. Something about color and open toes just warms me up. Check out the trends I’m loving for Spring.

Neon: Would I wear a neon green shirt? Probably not. But something about a dash of it in shoes does it for me. I love that Chinese Laundry pairs it with a neutral tone. It’s not too scary, that way. You can wear it with a cute white summer dress and it won’t hurt your eyes.

Wedges: I am so excited that wedges are still in the stores. Comfort will always rule.

Snakeskin: Like we saw yesterday at Ann Taylor, snakeskin is still major. It’s chic and elegant. It’s the kind of trend you can rock for years and it’ll still look hot.

Wider Straps: Read More Support. Wider straps also make your feet look more delicate, by contrast.

Tribal Prints: We’re taking inspiration from the world, with these worldy prints. There’s a playful edge to tribal prints that is just beautiful.

Fringe: How cute are these sandals? This screams Boho Chic.

I had to add these because I’m always on the lookout for comfy, stylish shoes that I can wear all day in a dressier setting. These are like a step up from flip flops. It’s for days when you want to be comfortable but would like to take it up a notch.
