Today I attended the NIVEA event to unveil their new Million Moments of Touch Movement. I was super excited because Dr. Drew Pinsky of Lifechangers was there! Is it wrong that I think he is uber smokin’? Also, there was another surprise!
The Million Moments of Touch Movement is NIVEA‘s push to remind people of the beauty and necessity of touch from one human to another. We’re in a techie age of communicating via text messages and Skype and Facebook. While those means are awesome, NIVEA wanted to remind everyone to communicate with loved ones through touch. Dr. Drew talked about the importance of hugging and kissing loved ones. Check out these facts about touch.
As part of the movement, NIVEA is encouraging you to go to their Facebook page (Million Moments of Touch), like the page and activate your chance to win a date night with your loved one, on NIVEA. They will cover babysitting, dinner, etc. That night is all about you two. One couple will win EVERY DAY!!
NIVEA also chose one couple that they think do a lot of touching and really work at that in their relationship. It was Rebecca Romijn-O’Connell and Jerry O’Connell!! I almost fell out of my chair when they walked out. They talked a bit about juggling busy lives but still finding the time to touch each other and connect.
