Restoration On King In Charleston, South Carolina: WHAT A HOTEL! (VIDEO)

Out of control. That’s all I have to say about the Restoration on King. The hotel was originally built to house condo units. I don’t know why the change of plans occurred, but now you can rent one of the condos while you visit Charleston, South Carolina.

Location is everything right? Well, this puppy is a half block off Market Street – the center of… EVERYTHING. I just spent the entire afternoon shopping, eating and touring (more of that in a bit).

Let’s take a look at Restoration on King in Charleston.

Remember – your “room” is spaced out like a condo and each unit is different. This post will be about the room I stayed in. The manager, however, told me that my room is unique to the hotel. Only one other unit has stairs. So, if you don’t like the thought of having stairs – you don’t have to have a room with them in it. Onto the tour!! When you first walk in – to the left is your bedroom and master bath. Be sure to watch the video to see this part of the suite.

If you decided to NOT turn into the bedroom, you continue down a hallway that ends with a handful of stairs. You will pass a washer and dryer that is there for your disposable. Walk down and…

Voila! An entire apartment! You can’t even see the kitchen from this angle. It’s a lovely space – truly! My mouth dropped when I saw how large the suite really was.

Here’s a picture of the kitchen. The refrigerator is filled with water and soda – complimentary. The entire unit has a really great open feeling to it. High ceilings and brick walls = the loft I always wanted to own.

For a better view – please check out the above video.
