Tommy Bahama Restaurant – Where Have You Been All My Life?

Seriously, if I knew how much I was going to enjoy my meal at Tommy Bahama restaurant, I would have taken pictures of every single course. OUT OF CONTROL DELICIOUS!!!!

While in Orlando with the kids this week, Bill and I opted for a sit down dinner at Tommy Bahama. The only reason why we went in was because the parking attendant told us that the restaurant had a kids menu. LITERALLY  - that was our criteria. We were utterly exhausted from spending the day at Legoland and just wanted to relax a bit away from the chaos that surrounds theme parks.

Well, let me tell you, it was flipping awesome. Charred artichokes, walnut crusted goat cheese, coconut shrimp, filet mignon, stuffed chicken, plantains, and more – OH MY! Yes, that’s what we ordered. Our booth was FILLED with food. I’m sort of obsessed with farro salad as of late and Tommy Bahama even had THAT as an option. I was pleasantly surprised and devoured every last bite.

I asked the waiter WHY THERE WASN’T ONE IN NY and he said it’s on its way. Madison Ave I believe? Or was it 5th? Either way, they are building a 3 story restaurant and I cannot wait to go check it out. SO SO GOOD.

For the lucky few that have a Tommy Bahama Restaurant near them – here is their location list:

Lucky devils.

April 22nd My wife and I went to the Orlando resturant and was very dissppointing. I had the Stuffed Shrimp which was so over cooked the shrimp was very tough and the crap had no taste and was almost vaproistic. The mashed potato, I still say instant. My wife said her chicken tasted like it was a breaded frozen dish.
