I had the pleasure of attending Tori Spelling‘s book party for her new book, CelebraTORI. The event was hosted by The MOMs, Melissa Gerstein and Denise Albert. This book is about her love for party planning and how she can help you unleash yours. All the photos were styled by her. As I’m sure you know, Tori is pregnant with her 4th child! So exciting! She took some questions from the audience.
Was Baby #4 planned?
Hattie was 1 month old at the time! Do you think it was planned? It just sort of happened. They say 6 weeks but Dean was like, “They tell everyone that. Don’t worry about it.”
How much sleep do you get?
Not alot. We try to get the kids to bed around 8 but that hardly happens. Hattie is still waking up once or twice during the night. I’m one of those people who wake up with lists running in my head so I don’t get that much sleep.
How do you balance it all, with filming a reality show and the kids?
We spent the first year getting used to it. We do everything together. We film the show together, we play together. At first, it’s hard having a camera there when you’re changing a diaper but you get used to it.
When is the baby due?
The baby is due in September. The experience of me being pregnant with Hattie was new to Liam and Stella. This time it was like if I said there’s milk in the kitchen, go help yourselves. They were not surprised. Stella wants a boy for Liam, since she got a girl.
Have you had any cravings?
I think cravings are overrated. I didn’t have any crazy cravings. It was more like I wanted whatever was in the fridge and all of it.
What was your favorite party?
My favorite party was my 30th. birthday party. It was an 80′s prom party so that was a ton of fun. I wish someone had told me in my 20′s not to stress so much! I was worried about finding the right guy and getting married. Your 20′s are about having fun with your girlfriends. Enjoy it. You really only hit your stride in your 30′s.
