I’ve Been Keeping A Secret: Spent The Last Week In Italy With My Family

Seriously, do you know how hard it is for a blogger to keep anything a secret? Imagine how I felt the last 8 days trying to NOT POST the fact that I was in Italy with my family!

I

was

DYING.

My phone didn’t work. Internet was sparse and there was no Castleville. It took a little adjusting to – to say the least.

Ok truthfully, it only bothered me at night when we were back at the hotel. The rest of the days were spent sightseeing and… eating. And when I say eating, I mean inhaling all things Italian. Gelato twice a day? YOU BET!

I was actually on assignment for Sea Cuisine. More about that over the next week or so.

I’m flying home today and don’t have the energy in me to write my usual amount of stories. Please forgive the lack of content that is pushed out today.

Tomorrow things will be back to normal! And BOY do I have a ton of stories to tell!!!

  • That is what I’d love my last view on earth (with my precious son alongside the landscape) to be.

What a beautiful assignment you got, Vera!

Comment is acting as an entry to the CVS contest.

  • Oh goodness, I can’t wait to hear about this. And I totally know what you mean about unplugging which my husband and I did (even no tv) when we spent a week in Jamaica. It was only rough the first couple of days then I realized how relaxing life was being so disconnected.

  • Dying to see your photos. Love the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri. Hope you saw it all. Miss you! xoxo
