I recently had the opportunity to preview L.L. Bean Signature‘s Spring/Summer 2012 Collection and all I can say is bring on the Spring!

L.L. Bean Signature is a more fashion-forward collection from L.L. Bean that melds L.L. Bean‘s traditional, classic sportswear with a more lighthearted whimsical approach to create a collection that is stylish and fun and perfect for the gorgeous Spring and Summer months ahead.

One of the highlights of this collection is the array of interesting and chic prints. From the more whimsical beach themed prints, like the pants above, to the more intricate patchwork patterns and plaids, the L.L. Bean Signature Collection has a little something for everyone’s fashion palate.

Another standout in the L.L. Bean Signature Collection is the accessories. My favorites are the leather sandals (pictured above) that come in the perfect array of black, teal and eggshell and master the delicate balance of looking comfortable but still polished. It is easy to picture throwing one (or all!) of the sandals above in one of the cute L.L. Bean Signature weekend bags with a few of the sundresses and jetting of to somewhere wonderful — and sunny — for the weekend.

But L.L. Bean and L.L. Bean Signature aren’t just about fun clothes, in celebration of it’s 100 year anniversary, L.L. Bean is on a year long mission to reignite America’s love of the outdoors.
