It’s a little sad that I am still catching up with work from 3 weeks back. But it’s been one heck of a month. While vacationing on the Disney Fantasy Inaugural Cruise, I had the chance to check out Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island while testing out the Verizon HTC phone. Let me tell you, that puppy has some serious heat. These pictures are AMAZING and CRYSTAL CLEAR – I was pleasantly surprised.
I just loved the look of the ship. The Disney Fantasty sort of pays homage to old school cruising. There’s something really special about the design.
Once on Castaway Cay, you can either walk to the beach section or hop on a tram. We opted for the tram and was left off right in the middle of all the fun. There are shops, restaurants, music and of course lounge chairs!
MAGIC! The colors were absolutely amazing. That water was crystal blue and the shoreline goes on and on for miles. Don’t worry about not finding a seat – that’s pretty much impossible.
There always seemed to be something fun going on too – like this crab race. The kids were going NUTS cheering on their number.
And yes, the Disney crew is walking around as well. I couldn’t resist!
For the children, Castaway Cay has several wonderful options. One of which is this water slide park. I almost wanted to head on up and check it out because it looked so fun!
Are you a runner? Cool! They have a 5K mapped out for you to enjoy!
The food was great, the ice cream was overflowing and the adult private beach was an oasis. I had a wonderful few hours on Castaway Cay and highly suggest you check it out!!
