This week, my daughter’s school invited parents into the classrooms to listen to their children read their very own books. Each child created a story and illustrated its pages. It was really a beautiful thing to see. We were divided into groups of 5 and you could see right away how very different each kid was. In my group, there were stories about fishing, hockey, animals, birthday parties and more.
I filmed Natalie’s turn… or so I thought. When I tried to stop the film, my iPhone froze and then shut DOWN. It never saved. I was like… DO OVER!! in my brain but of course I couldn’t ask the group to listen to Natalie for a second time. So bummed.
Bill snapped a picture of them during the class party (we pulled Liam out of school so he could see his big sister’s debut). I’m going to have to figure out what’s wrong with my phone. It still won’t take pictures… and a blogger without a camera is like a fish without water. :)
