H&M launched their $4.95 Swimwear collection in stores today and I got the chance to preview it this morning, in their Soho showroom. I am obsessed with H&M and this little event did that no good. There’s an entire line of swimsuits for $4.95 for you to choose from! That means that you can look chic on the beach without going broke.
The theme was a tropical escape. There were vibrant colors and sexy shapes, with stunning hardware detailing. If you’re a fan of color blocking, you’re in for a treat, because there were quite a few of these.
There’s also swimwear for men with a sporty feel. Shorts are a bit longer and modest this year, but if you’re feeling speedos for your man, by all means, don’t let me stop you.
Color blocking in footwear is also huge and I love that shoes are getting more streamlined. We’re moving away from the these extravagant heels that steal the attention away from your outfit. Instead, these color blocked ones add a nautical flair and accentuate your legs.
Tribal prints are major and I fell in love with this clutch. It can be dressed up or down, depending on your mood.
