Had A Blast At SheCon 2012: Here’s A Quick Recap

I’ve written about my time at SheCon a few times already, but I had a few more pictures to share. One of the best reasons for attending conferences is the ability to meet people (old friends and new). My pal Christine lives on the West Coast and I literally only get to spend time with her a few times a year. So, it was a real pleasure to see her walk into the room. Audrey and I waved her right over!! It’s nice to have online relationships – but it’s nicer to break bread in person, right?

I took this picture because I thought it was hilarious. We were all surrounded by machinery. I think every person in that room had at least three devices with them at all times. ;) This was staged – but still funny. :)

And the Time Dog guys were fun. They were one of SheCon’s sponsors – so everyone had a chance to chat them up. They made up this sign during one of the presentations. LOL

Subway was SheCon’s lunch sponsor and you better believe I filled my plate up with healthy goodness. Yes, I do have an addiction to olives. No, you cannot judge me.  ;)

And the Chic Suite was a nice little surprise. Not only did they have massage tables and a makeup artist, but they had a Rayovac charging station. Here’s my friend Jill getting a boost!

Overall, even though I had to leave a little early due to my sickness, I had a great time with friends. The few presentations I heard gave me some great takeaways and I am so thankful that Audrey and I had the opportunity to keynote.
