Today started off just right. Liam overslept a bit so I went in and kissed him until he opened his eyes. He turned to me and said, ”you’re in a bucket” and shoved me off the bed. Bill and I were cracking up! He doesn’t remember saying that to me – I can’t imagine what he was dreaming about??
Natalie made an art project with her breakfast. Who says you can’t play with your food?
And then… the children started to dart around the house to do their chores. They are so proud of themselves. They eat made their beds, put their dirty clothes in the washing machine and cleared the table. It’s like this fun game that I hope continues for THE REST OF THEIR LIVES. It’s not prompted – they just DO IT. I’m shocked. That chore chart really works!
