I have a great story. I should email Bob’s and make them hire me because all I do is talk about them!

Ok, so I needed to buy a King Size bed. We had one ordered from the outlets, but when Bill went to go and get it… it had no FEET. Wish we knew that before driving 1.5 hours (twice – once to see it and then once to pick it up). UGH. Needless to say, we returned home empty handed.  I was desperate and headed into a well known furniture store to buy something (ANYTHING) and have it delivered in a day or two.

We are only swapping out our bed. The rest of our furniture is fine so we aren’t buying new dressers / end tables. So it wasn’t so easy – the bed either had to match or totally NOT match. No matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t match our color.

So, I decided to go different and get one of those leather beds. The one I liked was almost double the wood beds on the floor. I called Bill and he said to get it because it was going to be our bed for the rest of our lives. Feeling nervous, I bought it – $1750. I left the store sick. I didn’t want to spend that much money on a bed. It felt so WRONG. When I picked my daughter up from school I was telling my friends about it and while they were trying to tell me it was a lifetime purchase, I just couldn’t justify it.

Bill called and said that he ran to Bob’s furniture and they had 4 leather beds to check out – all under $799. I grabbed my daughter and headed to Bob’s.

I bought almost the same looking bed for… $599.

It’s not as plush but WHO CARES??  I feel so much better now!! It’s being delivered on Tuesday. We are going to paint the bedroom tomorrow morning to get rid of my red walls and have an entirely new looking space in a few days. I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only are we upgrading to a King (bliss!) but we are getting a Serta mattress with an adjustable base. My kids were in their glory testing it out. I can’t wait to read in bed now!!
