We just celebrated Natalie’s birthday with friends over the weekend. One gift that I was particularly excited about was “Shrinky Dinks”. Do you remember those? I used to be OBSESSED with them! Basically, you color a piece of paper, warm it up in the oven, and watch it shrink/ harden.
I ripped that box open before anyone could blink.
The directions are on the box – but basically after you color the drawings you have to place it on aluminum foil and bake for 2-3 minutes.
The kids watched with anticipation.
After 10 minutes of cooling the kids were able to enjoy the new charms they made. The kit comes with beads, yarn and more for your child to make jewelry. So fun!
