Spartacus Star Andy Whitfield Creates Documentary Detailing The Last Few Months Of His Life

It’s 6:50 AM and I am already hysterical crying… not a good start to the day.

I am (and always will be) such a fan of Andy Whitfield. I fell in love with him after one episode of ‘Spartacus’ – a show in which he owned the lead. He had such passion, was strikingly handsome and a loving father to boot. Every Sunday, I would run to my television to watch him in action. He was simply beautiful – inside and out.

Unfortunately, he lost a battle with cancer. Andy has since been replaced but it is not the same. Whenever I watch the show, I find myself feeling for his wife and children – every week. Even Bill makes comments on occasion as well because he did not seem sick. Cancer is a very tricky disease. This was a man – a perfect specimen – who was the poster child for “healthy”. At least, that’s what it looked like from the outside. It’s a real reminder that Cancer does not discriminate and everyone is at risk.

When I found out that he made a documentary detailing the last few months of his life, I rushed to watch the trailer. I wanted to share it with you in case you are a ‘Spartacus’ fan as well. The film company is looking for donations to finish making the movie. By donating, you will help raise awareness as this message is one that certainly will travel. We can all beat cancer… we just have to remember to fight.

You can donate as little as a dollar. Visit Be Here Now for more information.

Thanks to my friend Maria for sharing this on Facebook.

  1. A simple mistake like basing all of your data from one source
could prevent you from creating something that could
be huge. TITLE tags appear on the status bar above the
menu bar in a web browser and are the headline
when viewing search engine results. s important that you
shop around, ask some questions about what you
expect to receive for your money and an outline of what.
