I spent a few hours at my local children’s museum yesterday afternoon and couldn’t get enough of their evaporating water art section. Several stone easels were set up with buckets of water and paint brushes for the kids. Their paintings would only last a few minutes because the heat would dry up…. err…. evaporate the water.
How fun! The kids were going nuts creating one masterpiece after another. I thought this would be a great project to try to replicate at home. You just need a stone slab from your local hardware store. It doesn’t have to be hung up – it could just rest somewhere on your patio.
Check it out! What do you think about evaporating water art for kids?
