You don’t have to stay on Disney property to enjoy all that Orlando has to offer. A few months ago, my family and I headed down for a quick vacation and stayed at the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort. The hotel is RIGHT OUTSIDE of Disney and seconds away from Sea World. Talk about the perfect resting spot.
I loved our room because it was a suite that allowed for some parental privacy. Bill and I had our own room while the kids shared bunk beds just a few feet away. Beyond them was a mini-living room. Trust me – we were all stretched out and happy. We had room to spare.
Recently, the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort underwent some major renovations. One of my favorite upgrades happend to the pool. The kids had SO MUCH FUN! There were several pools to choose from, a sprinkler system and a slide. Natalie and Liam were racing around like mad. Who could blame them? I mean – check this out. PS, this was also the view from our room.
And as soon as the sun sets, your children can enjoy a “dive in movie”. Get it? I thought this was fantastic!!
Relax. Unwind. Have a drink by the fire pit. You won’t be disappointed with the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort. You will be surprised at how much space a Disney vacation can actually offer.

Just returned from Florida last night! We stayed here. What an amazing place! The pool area is to die for. Very kid friendly. Friday night was indeed the movie night. Saturday was an Xbox Connect Dance Party for the kids! The pool bar staff is amazing. Would like to give a shout out to the bar and cabana staff, especially Kristen, Adam Ernesto and Oscar!
