I’m telling you… the last 10 days have been a true test for my family. First, everyone gets sick (and I mean everyone) and now… the dogs too!

We had a family party last weekend and I think the dogs were treated to a lot of human food. There were so many children and they all thought it was fun to feed my little dogs. Well, she started pooping blood (sorry to be so blunt) here and there and then finally it was all she was doing. Bill rushed her to the emergency room last night because it got really bad. She’s been suffering from poor health as it is. My 10 year old is an old hag.

Bill ended up having to leave Jill there.

So sick over this. I want to go and visit her but I don’t know if they let you do that sort of thing! She has an IV in her arm to help with fluids. Doc said they need to flush all the human food out. It’s too much for her little body. UGH.

If you have dogs, please don’t feed them too much human food. They aren’t made to handle it.

I don’t know WHAT TIME my poor husband got back (without her) last night but it must have been around 2AM. That poor boy is exhausted.

And my other dog – Jack – is roaming around the house so confused? He doesn’t understand where his sister went. It’s almost like he is in a panic. I have to take extra care of him today. Luckily, I’m still not 100% – which means I had no intentions of leaving my house. Grabbing the laptop and spending the rest of the day on the couch with my little man.
