Daily Diary: I Promise Not To Hate You As A Teenager

The kids came to the doctor with me yesterday – a check up to make sure all the madness was behind me. While we were waiting, they started singing about how they will always love me. It was sweet – so sweet. But I couldn’t help it. I joked and said, “you are going to hate me when you’re a teenager – just you wait.”

They started screaming – NO WE WON’T! WE WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER.

Bill and I were laughing. I asked them to pinky promise that they wouldn’t hate me when they got older. Got them real close and they swore. This is proof people!!! When she starts getting snippy with me at 13 I’m going to whip out this picture as a reminder. 🙂

HaHaHa, good luck. No matter how close of a relationship we have with our mothers there is a timeframe where we think we know more than them and YES, that is the teenage years. It's only when are older that we truly appreciate what they were trying to do. On a seperate note, I watched that show Teen Mom & the girl by the name of Farrah needs an attitude adjustment when it comes to dealing with her parents.
