Since I’ll be leaving for a few days this week, I decided to teach my children how to use Skype. This way we can talk to one another each night and have a visual. Well, the entire morning they’ve been calling me on my computer. It’s hilarious. Just when I think they’ve forgotten about the app… I hear that ring.
The kids are having a blast and I’m excited that they are old enough to understand how to use it. Going away is hard – I never like doing it – but it’s part of my job and it’s something I can’t change. Skype will at least let me see my babies once a day. What a comfort!
Now I have to get my mother an account so she can Skype the grandkids as well.
