Yesterday, I met some friend at the pool towards the end of the day. We were having a pretty lazy Saturday and decided last minute to grab out swimsuits. Well, we ended up taking over a few tables, ordering in pizza and having dinner together by the snack bar. The kids were in their glory.
They were so pre-occupied with one another that I don’t think we saw them once our meal was finished. The adults actually spent quality time together which was great because I haven’t seen some of my friends in ages.
And then… the pool closed. We were so upset. I had another hour in me at LEAST. Unfortunately, our pool got struck by lightening and some of the underwater lights no longer function. So, the hours have been reduced significantly. The town won’t fix the lights until the season is over. Boo.
Either way, it was a much needed Saturday evening with friends.
