Come on! Free samples of Turkey Hill ice cream? This is any person’s dream!!! Ok – enough with the exclamation points I know. I can’t help it though – the children were manic but so was I. The Turkey Hill Experience was one factory tour that my family will never forget.
When you first arrive, you are greeted by an over-sized cow and a giant vat of ice cream. The kids ran from the car straight to the statue. It was a really exciting opening for them.
Once inside, you get your tickets and then head upstairs to where the ice cream fun begins.
Grab a Turkey Hill hat and go! Follow the number path and take part in a variety of different activities and exercises.
Use your Turkey Hill Experience admission ticket to create your very own ice cream flavor. The children hand selected their ice cream flavors and add ons (you know, like tuna, strawberry, wasabi, melon, ketchup etc – lots of fun choices).
Looking for something more physical? Yup – they have that too.
You can even create your very own carton design. I loved how the kids were able to pick their pictures, fonts and placement.
Did I mention free ice cream samples? There were about 10 flavors to choose from and you could return for seconds (and thirds). The Turkey Hill Experience is definitely one factory tour your sweet tooth will enjoy.
There was also a Turkey Hill drink station where we had the opportunity to test out several different tea flavors. You know this was my favorite place. I adore tea.
