Yup – that’s me and my friend Barbara hanging out in bed watching ‘The Fifth Element’. We had the Charter Oak cottage all to ourselves. None of our 5 kids were around. Our two husbands were busy at home holding down the fort. It was just us girls and some chocolate.
Bliss!
This was it – all of the Charter Oak’s wonder. We spent a few hours in that sun room on the second floor. It practically put us to sleep – the quiet, the breeze, the serenity.
And did I mention two fireplaces? Despite the fact that we were in the middle of August – the weather was pretty cool that evening. So, we both fell asleep to the crackling fire.
Yeah… I miss the Winvian!! I most certainly have to make my way back there and fast.
