Lately I have been obsessed with replicating the smoky eye and peachy lip combo seen all over the Fall 2012 runways and fashion magazines. However, I could not seem to find the right products to execute the look. Then the other day, a nicely timed present arrived at my door: a box of *candy* from The Kandi Store.
The Kandi Store is a new line of richly pigmented mineral make-up designed by former lingerie designer Jennie Hurd to appeal to your “inner minx.” Provocative sloganing aside, the products deliver powerful results and give MAC a fiercesome competitor.
The lipgloss in “Peach Lollipop” (pictured below with the “Cherry Pop” shade) and the black eyeliner included in my candy box did the trick duplicating my wannabe runway model look. With a gazillion existing glosses out there, what sets The Kandi Store’s part? Besides its thick consistency that stays on even after kissing the little ones’ cheeks, the brush tilts to an angle for easier application. And that’s not even the best part: all the products are around $10 – a fraction of what most makeup of this quality costs!
