Yesterday, I had the pleasure of getting to know the WorldRiderZ when they stopped by the L’Occitane store in NYC to cap off their momentous trip. L’Occitane chose to sponsor the WorldRiderZ in their epic journey around the world to raise awareness about Chronic Kidney Disease.
I had the chance to chat with Stephane Etienne. He is a father, who upon learning of his son’s diagnosis at birth with Chronic Kidney Disease, was inspired to do more and make a difference. He and a friend set off on a world tour, visiting different countries and meeting people, all while increasing awareness about Chronic Kidney Disease. He has met, among others, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Richard Berry and Xavier Bertrand. Their journey is being documented on a series on the Discovery Channel.
I took a friend with me and we shopped for L’Occitane products, while Stephane and Aymeric, his friend, got pampered and met fans.
