I had the opportunity to go backstage at the Emerson Spring 2013 show at Lincoln Center. Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa did the hair. The nails were done by Essie. I met with Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa’s National Creative Director and Master Stylist, Zahi Ziani, and got his scoop on the hair for the show. He did a loose ponytail that started at the front of the head and wrapped all the way around. It was very boho-chic and young. He told me that they didn’t need extensions to get the length. They, instead, teased it and crimped it to add volume.
Here is a peek at what the nails looked like. They used a sponge to get the two color effect.
