Jill Stuart Spring 2013 Show #NYFW #MBFW

Soft, romantic, and casual elegance is what I would describe the Jill Stuart show. The colour palette was muted with cremes, blushes, rust, and taupes dominating the runway. What lacked in colour was made up for in texture with gowns of stunning lace, jackets in plush satin, and tops in dazzling sequin. The gowns were the show stoppers but it was their detailed simplicity that was the most striking. The glamorous safari inspired jackets and pantsuits were my personal favourite of the collection.
