Reem Acra Spring 2013 Fashion Show #NYFW #MBFW

The Reem Acra Spring 2013 show was nothing short of stunning. I was repeatedly picking my jaw from off the floor as gown after gown of show-stopping dresses floated down the runway. Just as your were starting to think “Oh, that must be THE dress of the collection!”, another gown would come down the catwalk even more gorgeous than the last.

A collection of gold gowns made of lace or sequins with beaded details, long sleeved ivory gowns with sparkle around the neck, and full-on Cinderella ball gowns made of dazzling nude and fuchsia tulle and organza were the high light of this Oscar appropriate show.

Among the red carpet gowns were feminine and lady like buttoned up dresses, silk pyjama-like pant suits, and laser cut tops and skirts. The models wore their hair pulled back in chic buns and makeup was soft, minimal lid with a bright red lip. Emerald greens and cherry reds stuck out among the monochromatic collection as well as the neon patent pointy pumps that each model wore.
