Loving Dashing Diva: A Chic Nail Salon With Perks

dashing divas nail salon garden city

I needed a pedicure badly. It’s been 4 months since my last salon visit. Yes, I said 4 months. The bottom of my feet were in desperate need of some TLC and my typical salon was booked to capacity. So, I headed over to Dashing Divas just to check it out.

Look at how beautiful it was!! I kept saying… WOW this place looks awesome!! The women were probably like… YES WE KNOW! LOL

Anyway, I added a callus treatment and my pedicure ended up costing me $45. It’s pricey. Don’t get me wrong! But there are a few benefits that you can take advantage of to sort of justify the expense:

  • Everything is sterile or brand new. Items like files and buffers do not get reused. So, if you are nervous about sharing items with other customers, this should put your mind at ease.
  • Every Thursday and Friday (5pm to 7pm) you get an complimentary drink with any service
  • Every Saturday and Sunday morning you get complimentary bagels and coffee with any service

So, plan your appointment accordingly to justify some of the expense!

I’m not sure if I will return on a regular basis because the price is a bit out of my range, but I really loved the treatment and the feel of the location. Maybe on special occasions I will treat myself to Dashing Diva.

Have you ever tried Dashing Diva before?
* these specials are from the Garden City location – I am not sure if they are available in NYC

  1. It’s important to give our feet regular pampering to keep them from callusing; moisturizing seems to help a lot. Thanks for sharing.
